Meet Mimi 10/07/2011
I met “Mimi” last year at an English club in East Asia. Each time we met, I got to talk with her about the Gospel on some level. Then she joined one of our summer English Camps where she met six of our incredible summer volunteers. She heard the Gospel again and the time was right. Mimi became a follower of Jesus, joined one of our very first small groups and was baptized this year.
1 Comment My Thoughts on the Unreached / Unengaged 06/09/2011
I recently read through Mark chapters 4-6. These chapters show us the incredible power, authority and sovereignty of God. Jesus is healing the sick and casting out demons and even the demons recognized the authority of Jesus so they trembled.
Today, according to Joshua Project and Finishing the Task, there are 6,900 Unreached People Groups (2.81 billion people with very little to no access to the Gospel) and 635 of them are completely unengaged by anyone with the Gospel. Video - Chinese Students in the USA 03/21/2011
Funds Provided 05/21/2010
We want you to know that the funds were provided per our last entry. The 10 East Asian brothers are now on their way to the identified Unreached People Group they will be focusing on over this next month. Pray for favor, open doors and a move of the Holy Spirit to change lives! First UPG Project Complete 04/15/2010
We recently completed our first Unreached People Group (UPG) Project. It involved 4 local East Asian brothers who visited several UPG in Western East Asia. We are currently evaluating the events and will be sending out an update in the next issue of "News from CrossCampus". Be on the look out! East Asian Church Gives to Haiti 02/02/2010
Today, a pastor came to us because his church, many who are college students, took up an offering this past Sunday for the relief work in Haiti. It is incredible watching God move in the hearts of East Asian believers to assist those hurting 8,000 miles away. East Asian Brother / Feb 12-21 01/18/2010
C.L. is an East Asian brother in our mentoring ministry. I just met with him this evening and he shared that he'll be returning home soon to visit his whole family. He's the only believer in his family but his parents have forbidden him in the past from bringing his Bible into their home or even sharing about his faith. However, he plans to do both this time around. So, I want you to join with me in partnering with C.L.

Haiti - Not East Asia but they need our help 01/13/2010
Recently, a 7.0 earthquake hit the capital of Haiti. More than 100,000 people are feared dead. Although we are an East Asian focused ministry, it's difficult to sit by and do nothing. Being and East Asian based ministry, helping in Haiti poses some challenges but we want to attempt to do something. At this time, we want to challenge you to do the following three things. 1. Donate money to help provide relief. There are many suggestions but we suggest Youth With a Mission* (also view YWAM Haiti*) because they work closely with the church in Haiti. The reason we suggest them is that they are a ministry that works directly with the church in Haiti. They are doing more than providing relief, they are providing relief and sharing the Gospel. 2. Pray for God to bring healing & relief to the entire country, for the church in Haiti to take a leading & active role in the relief and for the Gospel to pentrate the hearts of the Haitian people. 3. Pray for the church in East Asia to step up and assist in some way to assist the church in Haiti with relief efforts, at the very least in monetary assistance. * Youth With a Mission & YWAM Haiti are not official partners with CCI or governed by CCI. This information is listed for your convenience only. CCI is not responsible for the funds YWAM receives or how they utilize them. | archivesNovember 2011 categoriesAll |
