By God's grace, we've received 43 donations to cover 43 presents that will be handed to university students at our Christmas party next weekend!  PTL!  We'll post pictures in the future on our website so stay connected for more information.  You may also follow us on Facebook and Twitter.  Just check our home page for the links.

Our Christmas ministry is gearing up to begin next week.  We are still searching for individuals to contribute to a special Christmas gift we plan to give university students in East Asia.  Currently, we have 7 gifts covered but still need 43 more covered. 

Each gift is $15 USD and will represent the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ.  For more information, email us at office@crosscampus.net.  Deadline is December 14.
 
 
This is a special month for ministry.  Please pray for us and our short-term mission team who will be working together to share the Gospel with many university students.

We are hosting a Christmas party in East Asia next month.  In the party, we'll be focusing on the greatest gift of all time - Jesus Christ. 

In addition to speaking the Gospel, we want to give the attending students a special gift about the Gospel.  It's uniquely made in East Asia and cost $15 USD each.

Mentoring is like second nature for me.  Beginning a year or two after I believed in Christ, God placed a key man in my life to mentor me.

The three years he mentored me, meeting almost weekly with him for only an hour a week, had the largest impact on my spiritual growth during my first five years as a believer.  In fact, I believe I would not be in this ministry if it were not for the time he poured into my life.  Thankfully since then, I have been blessed with additional mentors through different periods of my life.

 
 
We're on the look out for Medical Doctors willing to give 10 days to 3 months to serve in a dual role.  First, the Doctors will interact with college students for the purpose of sharing the Gospel.  Second, the doctor will serve part time at an international medical clinic primarily utilized by Like minded Expats living in a city where great medical treatment is not always easy to locate.

Yesterday, I met with a local Brother who is an entrepreneur with a successful start up business.  I say successful because he only has to work one day per week.  He has hired someone else to manage his business during the rest of the week.  He does it this way to free up this time so he can spend the rest of his week ministering to college students full-time.

The purpose of our meeting was so that I could see the campuses he works on and to see how we can best partner with him and the church he attends in this collegiate ministry.


 
Weekend Seminar 10/19/2009
 
Last weekend, we hosted a seminar for 32 local believers made up of church leaders, lay leaders and college students.  Clyde Hodson with PrayerMentor.org was our guest speaker.  It was a great time learning from John chapters 14-17 about "Abiding in Christ", "Our Authority in Christ" and more.
